The new Panini Premier League Adrenalyn XL 2023 collection is only around the corner and is set to hit shops and Solve Collectibles on August 4th! (PRE-ORDER NOW)
The collection is said to be “bigger, better and more exciting than ever” but what’s new about the collection?

New Designs
All of the returning sub-sets have new designs including the base cards, golden ballers and limited editions!
New Sub-Sets
There are several new sub-sets in this years collection including ‘World Class’, ‘Top Finishers’ and ‘Electric Pace’ cards. ‘Adrenalyn Rush’ and ‘Titan’ are also featuring in this years collection, which have made appearances in other Adrenalyn XL products.
New Excellence Cards
Last season, Panini brought out Lenticular cards as well as Limited Editions to find exclusively in certain products. It is expected that this year, Panini have replaced Lenticular cards with ‘Excellence’ cards.
Products and Pricing
Panini have stuck with the same product sets as the previous two seasons, which includes a Starter Pack, Packet, Multipack, Multiset, 4 Classic Tins and 4 Pocket Tins. The Classic Tins and Pocket Tin colours have changed slightly from last years, as they have exchanged the Purple tins with a Green tin.
It is confirmed that the packets will include 6 cards, which means every box of 70 packs will include a total of 420 cards!
The prices of packs have stayed the same, but the price of Starter Packs and Multipacks have increased by £1 and then Classic Tins and Pocket Tins have increased by £2. Below are all the products and their pricing.
Starter Pack – £6.99
Packet – £1
Multipack – £5.99
Multiset – £9.99
Classic Tin – £11.99
Pocket Tin – £8.99
What is in the Starter Pack?
The starter pack includes an album, 3 packets, 1 exclusive limited edition, 1 online code card.. and for the first time, 1 golden baller!
Considering that previously, golden ballers could only be found 1 in every 50 packets or 1 every Mega Tin (£10 in last years collection); Golden Ballers being included in the Starter Packs may well be a way for collectors to save a bit of money!

Kick-Off Multipacks
Every year, Panini bring out a Kick-Off Multipack designed to give customers a teaser in to the new collection. The Kick Off multipack usually includes 4 packets of cards that can only include a limited number of cards.
This year, the Kick-Off multipack includes 4 packets and an ERLING HAALAND LIMITED EDITION!

Limited Editions & Golden Ballers
In recent years, Panini have released 8 Golden Ballers and 1 invincible card. It seems that this year, this will remain the same. The 8 expected Golden Ballers are: Jarrod Bowen (West Ham), Heung-Min Son (Tottenham Hotspur), Jadon Sancho (Manchester United), Jack Grealish (Manchester City), Luis Diaz (Liverpool), Kai Havertz (Chelsea), Philippe Coutinho (Aston Villa) and Emile Smith-Rowe (Arsenal).
Limited Editions are cards that can be exclusively found in certain products or are incredibly rare to find in packets. It is assumed that each different product released from Panini will have a different limited edition inserted inside exclusive to that product, as has been the case in recent seasons.
The Limited Editions that are inserted in to the Pocket Tins are as follows:
Green Pocket Tin – Virgil Van Dijk (Liverpool)
Blue Pocket Tin – Michael Olise (Crystal Palace)
Yellow Pocket Tin – Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United)
Pink Pocket Tin – Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City)
